LONDON: London Eye and Buckingham Palace

Just to recap. We walked back a few miles to our hostel, despite the rain, and our hurting feet! Once back we got an internet card to check on some stuff and then we were off again. this time to the famous London Eye!
WE had bought tickets earlier but still had to pick up the physical tickets. man sometimes people are so slow. the people in front of us bought tickets from street vendors so they ended up paying a lot more! After we had tickets in hand we got to go through the 4D experience. It was pretty neat. you had the 3-D show and then they would blow air on you or snow or bubbles! it was a fun experience!
I look a little crazy!

Here is one of the views from the top! Big Ben looks amazing!

The walk out was lined with gorgeous blue lights in the trees. This isn't the best picture of it either!

From the London Eye we headed to the Palace. Neither of us had much interest in it but we had to make the trip! These are the gates!

These amazing fountains were out front! Brent liked the shadows of this picture more than anything else because of the fountain lighting, so I posted it instead of the ones where we are clear.

Up closer to the monument in front of the palace.

After the Palace, we stopped to get some McDonald's. We didn't eat much after lunch so I treated myself to a McFlurry (areo) and McDouble! I really think I am gaining weight on this trip, oh well, plenty of time to lose it in Budapest!

Overall, it was a very rewarding and busy first day. My feet hurt so so bad! Walking everywhere was super fun and I would totally do it again. We needed to work really hard to make sure we saw a ton of stuff! Next post... Day TWO!
