Moona and the Mermaid Tank

Sometimes big things happen in a childs life that you didn't realize were big things.  This happened one day when Brent and I had to run some non-kid friendly errands.  While in one store Harper found this stuffed animal.  It was cute and kept her occupied so she hung onto it and when she asked to buy it we caved.

This is when the big moment happened.  Harper NAMED this little chameleon.  Brent asked what her name was and she said "Moona".
This is the first time Harper ever gave something a name. I feel like Moona is a pretty solid name too.
Since turning one London's personality has come through strong!  She is turning into her own little person before our very eyes.

London had a big moment while visit the Mermaids at the Silverton.
This is the first time she understood what she was looking at.  While Harper became disinterested pretty easily, London spent her time chasing different aquatic animals all over the tanks.
There was one fish who spent 15 minutes flirting with her!  London would take breaks to turn around and giggle and point out the different fish to us.  London turning one has been a real blessing in my life!
