Cabo: Day One

It was time.  London was four months old I was was getting antzy.  I love getting out of Vegas and breaking up the routine so it was time.  Brent and I really debated where to go and decided that if we weren't going to visit family we needed something that we could enjoy with two kids under 2 years old. An all-inclusive in Cabo was our best bet.

So we packed our bags and hit the road...
Harper LOVES planes, so the airport was her favorite thing in the world.
London on her first plane ride.  She is such a big girl! One reason we chose Cabo is because the plane ride was only three hours with a layover in the middle.
After landing, making it through customs, getting our luggage, renting the car, and checking into the hotel room we were ready to start the fun part... and boy did we!
One of the great things about an all-inclusive is the POOLS!  What a great way to spend a few hours.  Several parts of each pool that were shallow so Harper could play to her little hearts content!
London and I enjoyed spending time watching Dad and Harper play.
She also enjoyed just relaxing on her own.  She has such a playful attitude!
I also had some fun playing with Harper.  London made it in the water but she just didn't enjoy it as much.
We bought a swim vest for Harper and I was worried she would struggle to get used to it.  Within an hour she had it figured out.  Thank goodness because we planned a lot of pool time living in Vegas.
After the pool we hit up dinner.  I can not express how tired Harper is here.  This is a little restaurant on the resort.  We were pretty impressed that our first dinner consisted of steak, chicken and other great choices.  We tried out the buffet and decided we like the little bistro more.
When it came time for bed, we had to get creative. Harper sleeps best when she can't see us but due to a pass through between the dining nook and the beds we had to get creative.  We were worried housekeeping would deconstruct our masterpiece but it remained intact for our entire stay!

The actually travelling part is always REALLY stressful. I worry about the kids screaming and Brent worries about missing a flight, loosing bags, and other logistical nightmares.  Overall, it makes for a rough start but once we got settle it was TOTALLY worth it!  Great first day.
