BYU Basketball Game!

Have you heard that BYU Basketball is actually fairly noteworthy this year? It is mainly because of a player named James Fredette (JIMMER). He is 6' 2" and looks like he should play tennis not basketball, but the kid is amazing! Since this is Brent's last semester we decided to go to one last game before he graduates!

We went with two of our friends, Sam and Terri Anne. They have an adorable daughter named Chloe. I love this little girl like she is my niece! She is so wonderful and she has such amazing parents. Unfortunately, she was uninvited to the game, but got to spend some quality time with her cousins!
At the game. The Marriot Center didn't really fill up until 3 minutes before game time! Sam, looking sharp as always!

I wasn't expecting and introduction like this! The white curtains fell and there was a movie, music and light show to get the audience stoked!

At the game!

This is who it was all about. he had a really hard first half and only scored 5 points by half time (he averages 30 points a game). In the second half BYU was doing better but Jimmer was still struggling. Finally, he hit a gorgeous fade-away 3 and it was like everything clicked. You could tell he was stressed but after that is was just natural looking. He ended the game with 23 points and BYU won 71-59!

I typically rush to the car to beat traffic but we decided to wait for the victory bell to be rung. We thought it was going to be the player of the game, Charles Abouo, but it turned out to be someone we didn't know, named Logan.

Waiting for the magic!

TERRI ANNE! IT DID TURN OUT CUTE!

The one and only Cosmo! He is a pretty impressive mascot!

Here is what we live next to! Europe sure did help us to appreciate nature more!

After the game, we made milkshakes and watched the office. The exhaustion was overwhelming.
It was great to be able to participate in BYU sports one last time! I hope we continue to do well, because it may make March Madness bearable!

Was that their last game or just the last game you will be attending?
