UPDATE
Just thought I would write to check in with everyone, especially since some exciting (and unexciting changes) have occurred that some of you may be unaware of! So here they are!
1.) I, Mallory, got my hair cut... finally! Ever since I chopped 12 inches off last year, a mere 3 weeks after getting married, I have been longing for my long beautiful hair. The good news is it is growing back and I just got a trim that will hopefull help it grow faster and longer than before. So my hair is almost back to where I like it
2.) Brent is well on his way to win a cruise for two! Icon rolled out and incentive which said that if you beat your best month average by five you recieve a fully paid for cruise for two. The problem is the cruise usually takes place in november- Febuary when we are just booked solid, so we are planning to cash out and take a trip of our own using, hopefully less money than they give us! Does anyone feel like Hawaii? Brent is over a third of the way done with 2 1/2 weeks to go! So we are getting pretty excited about that!
3.) Kaliah (our kitten) is getting pretty big and playful! I went out and bought a laser pointer, as one of my sales highly recommended it, and... it drives her CRAZY! Whenever she hears it click on she immediatly begins to look all around to find the dot. The first night we played a little to hard and she began to pant, which was pretty scary, and even brent got really worried about her! (He is a very big softy!) Now we use it in moderation and I just worry that she is obsessing over it, but I am sure that is me being overly protective. Oh the fun thing is it works with dogs too! Bax, Toren and Audrey's beagle, doesn't care for it much but Rook, Lee and Heathers bull dog, aboslutly loves it!
4.) My new computer is working wonderfully... ok this is old news for most people but I did get a new computer which works really well, and it is so much lighter and faster than my old computer I thought it deserved a shout out! What I like most about it is that it doesn't turn off unless I tell it too! Oh the wonders of the modern technology!
5.) Next big news, brent and I are going to be getting our own cell phone plan! Yes, afte ra year of marriage we thought it time to step up and start acting like real adults and everything, so we will be getting our own plan, which includes paying for it (the HUGE downside) We plan to do that in the next few weeks so be awaiting a text with out new numbers... my will probably stay the same because I have learned to love it so much!
6.) Finally, the last piece of big news, BRENT AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR ALMOST A YEAR! Pending everything goes well for the next 11 days brent and I will have been married for a year (expect a wedding rememberance blog in 11 days) but here is the question I am asking all of you in my weekly poll... WHAT SHOULD WE DO FOR OUR 1 YEAR? I have posted some options so EVERYONE please answer I would love to hear what you all think!
Ok well I think that is all for today, but doing this has given me some great things to blog about in the future!
Love
Brent, Mallory and Kaliah

Mission: Find Torens Ring
The search started out hopeful as everyone began looking for the "precious" rook even has his nose to the ground helping out!
Although it looks as if Toren is scanning the horizon in hopes of spotting his glittering tungstan ring, he is actually getting ready to catch a foot ball thrown by brent who is just a little dot in the background
The is heather and I still looking as the boys have revealed their true motive in coming to the park, to practice some plays for the upcoming game this wednesday
Luckily towards the end there was a little more focus, but we still turned up empty handed! So Mission: Find Torens Ring is officially closed and filed under failed :(
P.S. this is Kaliahs newest favorite sleeping spot, above the washedr and dryer on top of all the clean towels!

KIRTLAND!
This is Brent and I infront of one of the exhibits at the Kirtland visitor center run by the RLDS church. It was an interesting place, and there was definatly a different spirit there then the one present at many of the LDS visitors centers. This was the only picture inside of the visitors center because we were shortly told that pictures were not allowed inside the visitors center or the temple.
This is us in front of the Kirtland Temple Doors, which had been "restored" to their original color... I am not sure how they could tell what the original color was but I like the color green so there is no reason to be overly critical of the choice. The guide also told us that the original stucco would have looked blueish in comparison to our white stucco today, which made me laugh, I mean a blue building with green doors just makes me think someone was color blind!
This is a really great picture taken by brent. He is the artistic one between the two of us. He also has a great slideshow of waterfalls, which I should really get put on here soon! It is a really pretty picture taken by a really amazing boy!
This is the whole gang in front of... you guessed it... the Newell K Whitney store. Some amazing things happened here, including the school of the prophets as well as many revelations recorded in the Doctrine and Covenants.
This sums up the whole trip! Brent and I had a great time on our little adventure yesterday, and it will probably be the last time we visit the location while we are still a young married couple! It was a great time and we learned a lot about the trials and tribulation that the early saints had to endure to help the church prosper across the globe! Stay tuned from some more exciting post, on our life here in Columbus!

My Kitty
Hey everyone! I just thought some of you would like to know how the cutest little niece is doing, of course we are talking about Caleiah Cora Huntley! she is doing very very well, and even though she hates being speperated from us all day, she has been waking us up less and less each night, so that is one more great thing about her! the nice thing is she still sleeps on my back at night. Usually Brent has to tell me she does because I am so tired by the end of the night to notice anything! Plus she is becoming a great little acrobat, so we took some videa of her to show off her abilities. This is probably how big she will get, thank goodness
She is a precious little gem, and we will continue to love her forever!
Everything is going pretty well here in Columbus, brent and I have already earned more then we would have both working full time back home and have enough to pay for at least the first year of law school. Keeping that in mind we can not complain about the work even though the work is hard and sometimes not very fun at all. All in all each day gets a little easier and it is weird to think that there was ever a time when we were not doing this or that there will be a time when we will never do this again!
On another note brent recieved yet another concussion from playing 4th of July football game with the boys from the office. Brent got teased because I wouldn't let him continue to play, but as a certified Momma Bear in the office it is my job to make sure the other bears of the office do not die! I will post more tomorrow but as for now it takes a lot to post one entry, let alone catch up on everything we should have been blogging all along!
Cedar Pointe
This is Ben Cardwell and his wife Reah! they are going on the worlds tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world! Audrey and I were to chicken so we just watched while everyone else went!
This is the rise and fall of the Top Speed dragster which gets going 120 MPH and has a huge drop... but it is really scary because you drop straight down... As you can see ;)
This is Lee doing one of those ladder climbs! he is looking really good... until...
Oh No! Lee Flipped over and lost... The worker guy made it look like it was really easy! Don't worry little bear we will still keep you around!
This is mine and Audrey's Victory Picture after we CAVED and went on the Top Speed Drag racer. It wasn't that bad at all. I guess turning 21 was pretty exciting and especially now that I can say I went on one of the fastest roller coasters in the world! We had a ton of fun and there are a ton more pictures but this blog only lets you post very very few, so I will have to post some back up pictures next time!
